Started by: tomplum (13087) View tomplum's page It had to happen fortunately it happened in my shed with no personal injuries and minimal damage to the plane which now needs a new propeller , It was caused by my negligence by, not following the basic rule of, turning the plane off when adjusting the servo controls , All the chanels in the transmitter can be reversed so each sevo can work as, ' normal or reverse and before you attempt this you need to know NEVER REVERSE CHANNEL THREE, because that is the throttle control and if its reversed the propeller is at full speed as soon as the transmitter is switched on, And purely by accident, I revered channel 3, The plane was on the bench as I switched on the transmitter and remediated left the bench and hit the shed wall at which point the prop shattered and the plane stopped with the engine at Full speed, I can only thank the lord I was not in front of the plane, Started: 14th Aug 2024 at 14:45  |
