Post by tomplum » Sat Jan 11, 2014 8:59 pm yea, its been like that for 10 years at least, we moved there in 2004 and there was a leccy cooker already installed, just a few weeks ago it blew the fuse (I'm still confused how it did that with no earth wire), anyrode I went to currys bought a new un and connected it myself, well there's only three wires, SO, 1. why did none of us get a tickle from the old one, 2. how did the old one blow the fuse, 3. the isolation switch is a cooker and socket type switch, I put a plug tester in the plug and it indicated 'normal' since uncovering a wasps nest in a bathroom refit and getting everyone out , I became an unstung hero, I put a plug tester in the plug and it indicated 'normal'  |
