Catalonia, last week, had Spain's highest incidence with 725 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Being this bad, it means we have to have 3 tests on our return from Spain, due to the government classifying it as an "amber" risk country.
Here's the latest figurs for our area of NW England -
Bolton - 12,094 cases per 100,000
Wigan - 10,685 cases per 100,000
St.Helens - 11,000 cases per 100,000
They'll be making us have three tests after coming home from work next!
Thick pisspot, the figures he gives for Bolton, Wigan and St Helens are for the entire pandemic from the beginning, the Catalonia figures he gives are only for the last week
